Matthew 8:7-9
Lexham English Bible
7 And he said to him, “I will come and[a] heal him.” 8 And the centurion answered and[b] said, “Lord, I am not worthy that you should come in under my roof. But only say the word and my slave will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority who has soldiers under me, and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another one, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it[c].”
